Little Pumpkin is turning TWO!!

Madelyn is turning two on October 1st, so we took a few pictures for her birthday party invitations. You should have seen Erin and I running around trying to make her laugh so we could get the perfect picture!

Levi!

Levi, Mickey and Amanda are usually at Sunday Supper at my mom's every week. I am so thankful to have them in my life - they all three of them bring so much joy! Here are a few pictures of Levi being his cute self!

Happy Birthday Bear and Allen!

So, Jeremy and Allen have the same birthday (August 9th) and we decided to have a few friends over to the pool to hang out. I was trying to figure out a way to do two separate cakes for them . . . and the idea for the BOOB cake was born. It took me at least an hour to get the flesh colored frosting just right using red and yellow food coloring. I think it was a success! If nothing else, we all got a good laugh out of it! I think Erin did a great job "modeling" it.

Dashiki

Anytime I do laundry, Dash waits at the top of the steps for me to bring the basket of hot clothes up. The second I set the basket down, he is digging in the clean white towels to find the perfect spot! Sometimes he gets so hot in all of those towels that he starts to pant and we have to fish him out. That dog is crazy . . . but I love, love, love him!

Pineapple Princess Indeed

Rachel had Ava's birthday party over the weekend. The theme was Pineapple Princess Luau - so much fun! We had a limbo contest, great food, pineapple cupcakes and lots of laughs!

Here is Ava with two of her besties - Ava Marie and Schuyler - playing limo! Apparently it is next to impossible to get a good picture of all three of them together . . .

Big E Doo is going to be THREE!!!

So, Ava is going to be three on the 21st - which I can't believe. I was there the whole step of the way when Rachel was pregnant with her, and I plan on being there for Ava every step of her life. I remember the day Ava was born and what joy we all felt. I am honored when she calls me "Aunt Sass" and I try hard to set a good example for her and all of the other little girls in my life.

I bought her this adorable romper for her birthday and I thought it would only be appropriate to take her birthday pictures in my parents' backyard - here are just a few of the highlights. I am proud to say that I took these pictures myself - I think they turned out great! I mean, easy to do when the subject is 100% adorable, her mom is a perfectionist and had the hairbrush and hairspray out between every picture!
